Yes, HD was going to use pressed MDF wrapped in Vinyl (or whatever junk they use) and Jordan used solid wood cabinets, which he primed and painted. I was remodeling my kitchen (Kitchen designed by DesignStudio27) and wanted to change my cabinets from a dark reddish finish to white cabinets.  I was referred to reKitchen by a close friend who had used them for their cabinets.  SOOOO GLAD FOR THE REFERRAL.  Working with Jordan has been a complete pleasure from the first day we met to the final day of my project.  When we first met, Jordan explained the process of refacing my cabinets (I thought he would just paint them).  We decided on new Shafer door style, new drawers, everything soft close, updated trim and new door/drawers handles.  I also loved that I was able to select the custom color I wanted for my cabinets.  The quote that he provided was fair and affordable.
I am truly impressed by the level of detail that was taken at each step of the way.  From the prep work, painting of the cabinets, installation of the doors/drawers/handles, clean up and any final touchup/finish work that was needed.   The equipment that he uses is top of the line and he make sure that your house/walls are well protected from paint fumes.
Because of the excellent quality of work that was done in my kitchen, I decided to reface my service porch cabinets, bathroom cabinets and a hallway cabinets.

I started getting estimates. I sent Jordan photos of the kitchen, and the next day I had an estimate. I went to his shop and saw some samples of shaker style doors. He showed me photos of similar kitchens he refaced, and we agree on the job. Jordan likes details and quality. He offered some good ideas to improve on my idea like shaker siding and moldings, how the doors size will match best with moldings. I was very impressed. He gave me a date and he was ready on that date to start working. He was very organized and did a great Job refacing this kitchen with soft close cabinets doors/drawers with soft close, installing moldings, knobs, included all the details he mentioned, including shaker side panels. I highly recommend Jordan, and I will definitely work with him on future projects. He is honest and very professional.
